An experience of a life time! The Sardine Run is a phenomenon that only occurs once a yer duringJune and July on the South African East Coast. Sardines mass together in shoals that can be come7 miles long and a mile wide and are visible form the surface. You can imagine the feeding frenzy this creates for large and small animals! For the advanced diver, this dive will be memorable with the chance to encounter sharks, dolphins, Cape Gannets, cormorants, seals, orcas, albatross and penguins all trying to get a piece of the action!
Your first night to begin this adventure will be at Umkomaas Guest House, a beautiful and friendly accommodation. Experience a no cage, baited Tiger shark dive, yes we said no cage! After you collect yourself from that adrenaline rush, we then transfer to Ntaba River Lodge, hospitality at its best, nestled on the banks of the scenic Ntaba River. Your stay is in lovely bungalows, each with private bathrooms, to enjoy your sardine experience!
